Sherry Hong, DVM

Dr. Sherry Hong, a second-generation veterinarian, grew up in Huntington Beach, CA, and developed her love of pets and their care from her father and his veterinary practice. She earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis in 2010 and also holds a Master in Public Health degree from Emory University.

Sherry believes in providing exceptional quality care for her patients and clients through evidence-based medicine, prevention, and education, and by establishing strong relationships with her clients by listening and providing an open line of communication.

In 2015, Sherry and her husband Richard, moved to La Crescenta and when Sherry learned of an opening at Montrose Pet Hospital, she saw it as a perfect opportunity to further plant roots in a community that she loves and one that her husband grew up in. They have a handsome cat named Felix who ‘adopted them’ by stowing away inside Sherry’s car when he was only 5 weeks old. Her interests outside of work include traveling, cooking, karaoke, wine tasting, rooting for the Dodgers, and emotionally supporting her husband during the fantasy football season.
